Activities
EPI activities include a dinner meeting with a program on the third Thursday of January, March, May, and September. The Executive Committee and interested members meet in February, April, June, August, October, and December, and at the discretion of the president. An annual one-day symposium on environmental topics is held in November.
EPI has sponsored informational meetings with the IDNR and short courses on remediation, submitted recommendations to the IDNR regarding Administrative Rule changes, spoken to legislative subcommittees on environmental legislation, and worked to provide environmental professionals with professional advancement and educational opportunities.
